At Lenoir City Intermediate Middle School we are preparing our students for their future, not our past.  We work hard to prepare them for their future by focusing on the individual child through personalized instruction.  We believe in a shared vision that includes positivity, support, teamwork, a commitment to problem solving and attendance.  With daily looks at data and a culture of caring, every student can find success at LCIMS!

Lenoir City Intermediate Middle School serves approximately 720 students. We are dedicated to providing an inviting, nurturing, and challenging environment that fosters individual growth and educational excellence for all of these students. Academics are balanced with the social, emotional, and physical needs of each child.

Teachers and administrators work together to provide a learning environment that is fully personalized based on the learning needs of each individual while promoting high academic standards. We are able to do this with the help of technology in a 1:1 (one to one) environment. All students at LCIMS are provided a Chromebook for their use throughout the school year. Along with personalized instruction by the teachers and a culture of caring instilled throughout the school, this technology is helping to prepare our students for their future, not our past!
