At Lenoir City Intermediate Middle School we are preparing our students for their future, not our past.  We work hard to prepare them for their future by focusing on the individual child through personalized instruction.  We believe in a shared vision that includes positivity, support, teamwork, a commitment to problem solving and attendance.  With daily looks at data and a culture of caring, every student can find success at LCIMS!

Lenoir City Intermediate Middle School serves approximately 650 students. We are dedicated to providing an inviting, nurturing, and challenging environment that fosters individual growth and educational excellence for all of these students. Academics are balanced with the social, emotional, and physical needs of each child.

Teachers and administrators work together to provide a learning environment that is fully personalized based on the learning needs of each individual while promoting high academic standards. We are able to do this with the help of technology in a 1:1 (one to one) environment. All students at LCIMS are provided a Chromebook for their use throughout the school year. Along with personalized instruction by the teachers and a culture of caring instilled throughout the school, this technology is helping to prepare our students for their future not our past!

Brandee Hoglund

I would like to welcome students, parents, and the community to Lenoir City Intermediate/Middle School. It is an exciting time to be principal of this outstanding school. I feel as if I am back home again! After graduating from the University of Tennessee, I began my teaching career here at Lenoir City Middle School. I taught 7th grade English for eleven years before transitioning to district Data/Testing Coordinator for three years.

Lenoir City Intermediate/Middle School holds a special place in my heart. I can truly say that we have the best students and staff of any school around. I am excited about the changes that lie ahead, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this school down the path of continued success. My door is always open, so if there is anything I can do please feel free to contact me (865) 988-1956. It is a great time to be a Panther!
